Crawford Sales has been part of the beverage industry since 1938. What started as a small distribution operation has grown into a full-service beverage distributor serving licensed retailers throughout Kansas.
As part of the three-tier system, we serve as the connection between the brands we represent and the retailers who make those products available to consumers. We take pride in representing quality brands and helping ensure products are handled, distributed, and delivered responsibly.
Today, we serve Allen, Bourbon, Johnson, Linn, and Miami counties, working with beverage suppliers and licensed retailers throughout Kansas.
How We Got Here
Crawford began in 1938 when Ted Crawford operated as a local Anheuser-Busch distributor serving Miami and Linn counties in Kansas. Over time, the business grew, and the next generation joined the operation, helping carry the company forward as a family-owned business.
From those early delivery routes to today’s distribution operation, Crawford has evolved alongside the beverage industry — expanding its capabilities, adding new products, and building the systems needed to serve a changing marketplace.
While the trucks, technology, and day-to-day operations have changed, the foundation remains the same: a family business built around hard work, responsibility, and pride in the job.
Four generations later, Crawford Sales continues to be operated by people who understand the industry, value the customers we serve, and appreciate the communities that have supported us for more than 85 years.
